The mystery has been solved. The Terribly Write blog post just before this one showed the mashup of a photo of Ms. Paltrow with a headline about doctors. Well, the writer for Yahoo! Shine corrected the error. Or at least corrected the photo and accompanying teaser:
Of course, the “correction” omitted the hyphens in the adjective out-of-date as well as some other word or two. Oh, well. It’s only the Internet, and Yahoo!’s readers have probably resigned themselves to the errors that appear there every day.
