Heads up! Let me give you a heads-up about the writers for the Yahoo! front page: They’re not all that competent when it comes to writing.
As an interjection, it’s heads up (two words). As an adjective and noun, it’s heads-up (with a hyphen). There’s no apostrophe, except in the sentence “Your head’s up your ass.”
