A few hours ago I reported that there was a rather strange headline on the Yahoo front page. Here’s a snippet from that post:
Well, as we know, the editors who work on yahoo.com are followers of Terribly Write (though probably not fans), and when I report an error on their precious front page, they correct it. But sometimes not correctly:
So, they corrected Marina, but neglected to realize that marinara (like marina) is not a proper noun. Really? They didn’t believe me? They didn’t consult a dictionary? They just decided to give it a capital letter? Whatever.
