Is there a punishment waiting for the person who committed this slip-up on the Yahoo! front page”
(According to the American Heritage Dictionary, slip-up needs a hyphen to be a noun.)
I wouldn’t want the person who committed this typo to lose their job and become homeless. I just want this word to be homeless:
Do you think this writer should be punished for not catching this boo-boo?
If so, what should the consequences be? I’ve voting for no free lattes for a month.
What do you think?
