This headline on the Yahoo! front page might actually be correct:
It’s the lead for an article about Republicans who are backing Todd Akin, and I suppose the GOP leaders could be “back with Akin” if they were with him before. But a more likely explanation is that with is a wayward word that has no business being there. Given the number of errors on yahoo.com every day the likelihood is high that it’s an error. Just look at the spelling of senate — according to multiple sources, including the Associated Press and the American Heritage Dictionary, it’s a proper noun when referring to a house of the U.S. Congress.
