And I thought matching a verb to its subject was easy. Silly me, it’s obviously difficult, because if it were easy, the folks at yahoo.com wouldn’t be writing stuff like this:
Either one gunman kidnaps six or multiple gunmen kidnap six. I just can’t figure out which is correct. And neither can the writer.
