I’m a writer, not a historian!

Geez, you guys expect a lot of a writer. Someone who writes for Yahoo! Movies shouldn’t be expected to know fact one about history. Or French literature. Or even movies. So, cut the guy some slack. Just because this recap alleges that “Les Miserables” took place during the French Revolution, doesn’t mean the writer is an idiot. It’s just that the writer doesn’t care about facts:

The story takes place from 1815 to 1832, ending with the June Rebellion. The French Revolution took place between 1789 and 1799.
