And yet, I thought they were at least ten years older. Could it be that the mathematical geniuses at yahoo.com don’t know that 50 is the sixth decade of life? Consider this: 0 to age 9 is the first decade, 10 to 19 is the second, 20 to 29 is the third, and so on. That means 50 to 59 is the sixth decade.

If, after all this time, you haven’t been able to teach them grammar, spelling, and syntax, what makes you think you can teach them math?

I don’t think this is even math — it’s more like third grade arithmetic.
