I couldn’t find the story. Does Yahoo! thihk they have to reference one Obama or the other in every story?

I believe that the editors on Yahoo! Shine try to tie Mrs. Obama to as many articles as possible — even if it’s merely tangentially, but especially if her name can be included in the headline — to attract comments. Mrs. Obama is not well liked by many of Shine’s readers and they flock to any story about her to voice their distaste for our first lady. The more comments, the more eyeballs on the page, the more advertising dollars.

That’s a clear casr of “I don’t care if they get my name on the papers, just so they spell it right”.
Which lets Yahoo! out.

Those people do manage to mangle a lot of names in wild and creative ways. I’ve tracked more than 1200 names — many of which have multiple misspellings.
