I find it hard to believe that Yahoo can’t find a high-school student somewhere who will proofread for free. A desperate intern. Somebody with basic English skills.
Eric, I think you’re assuming that Yahoo! cares about quality. There’s just so much evidence that shows that Yahoo! doesn’t care about facts, accuracy, grammar, spelling, or language in general. But, you’re right that a high schooler could make improvements in Yahoo!’s writing. I’ve seen high school newspapers that were better written and edited.
