How many names can you misspell?

The writer for Yahoo! Sports’ “Prep Rally” is known for his spelling ability, especially when it comes to names. And he doesn’t just make a single itsy-bitsy typo. Oh, no, he’s consistent! Take the town of Hodgdon, Maine. To this writer it’s Hogdon here:

Continuing to misspell the name, the writer goes a step further and misspells the name of the state, Maine:

And he keeps going with it here

and here (throwing in a possessive pronoun where the contraction it’s belongs):

Not content to get every instance of the town’s name wrong, the writer decides to misspell the subject’s name, Cody Tompkins:

    It would probably be easier if the town just changed its name.
