It’s official: No one at Yahoo! omg! knows when to use (or not use) an apostrophe. That punctuation character has absolutely no meaning to the writers at omg!. They use it in verbs:
at the end of names:
and even to form plurals:
Maybe it’s time to say goodbye to the apostrophe and bury it in the trash heap of outdated grammar rules. Or maybe Yahoo! should just hire editors who are familiar with the English language.
