Removal has been held up

The removal of this incorrect verb on yahoo.com has been held up because the writer didn’t know that the verb has to agree with its subject:

fp removal have been

As often happens when a verb is separated from its subject by multiple prepositional phrases, there’s a subject-verb disagreement: The subject is removal and the verb should be has been.
