What happened to the Oval Office — the office of the president of the United States? Apparently the editors at the Yahoo! front page feel it no longer deserves to be treated as a proper noun:

What’s uglier than Uggs?
December 3, 2009 — LauraCould it be this description from Yahoo! Shopping?
The writer seems to be suffering from a bit of schizophrenia, unable to decide if Ugg is an acronym deserving all caps or a simple proper noun. Even more serious is the mismatched subject and verb and the weird use of the contraction it’s. Even changing the contraction to its wouldn’t fix this mess. It’s just uglier than Uggs.
