No. 1 reason I hate this

I hate the expression reason why. Including why just seems redundant and unsophisticated to me. But that’s not the number 1 reason I hate this on the Yahoo! front page:

I hate this because a spell-checker would have found that typo. And I cannot imagine a professional writer not using one.
