New record for Wikipedia

Everyone knows that Wikipedia articles are a single Web page. That’s true — except for one article. According to Yahoo! News a bogus article in the online encyclopedia ran to 4,500 pages:

I’m not exactly sure why anyone would create a spoof article of that length. I think that a 4,500-word page would be sufficient.

It must be a zoo over at the offices of And there doesn’t seem to be a zookeeper. You know, someone who knows how to edit and proofread and would catch this kind of mistake on the Yahoo! front page:
