Shutdown embarrassment

This is so bad that I’m actually embarrassed for the person responsible for it on the Yahoo! front page:

fp shtudown

I don’t have to mention the shtudown — a typo that should have been caught before this was published. But I will mention that hyphen in nonessential — it’s nonessential (and wrong). Government services won’t close, but they may end.

More than that, how do they figure that “closing nonessential services” would lead to a government shutdown?

Correct answer: the government itself is nonessential.

What do you think?
