Give me an antidote or at least an anecdote!

Oh, gawd. Tell me there’s an antidote to the ignorance that causes mistakes like these:

If there isn’t an antidote for ignorance, maybe there’s at least an interesting anecdote behind it. Like the writer for Yahoo! TV‘s “Primetime in No Time” was just kidding.

There is no magic story

Don’t go looking for a magic story to cure your money woes. According to Yahoo! Shine, it doesn’t exist:

I’ve seen lists of commonly confused words that include anecdote/antidote as a frequently interchanged pair. But I never, ever believed that a writer could mistake one for the other. My mistake.
