It pains me to read this

If your stomach hurts, you’ve got pain. If you’re hungry, you’ve got hunger pangs. If you’re the Yahoo! Food editor, you’ve got a mistake:

Hungering for less pain, more pangs

Have you seen that McDonald’s commercial where two guys are sitting in a booth and one mentions his “hunger pains”? And the other dude corrects him? And you thought no one could be so stupid; that everyone knows it’s “hunger pangs.”

You would be wrong. Someone over at Yahoo! omg! missed the point of that TV spot:

 

As the Mickey D’s ad says, “That’s English.”
