Wrong transatlantic flight

news aurora

For some reason, the folks at Yahoo! love capitalizing aurora borealis, even though it’s not a proper noun. Although Atlantic is a proper noun, when it gets a trans- prefix it’s transformed into transatlantic, without the hyphen and a capitalized A. According to the American Heritage dictionary, time-lapse could use that hyphen. And thanks for telling us that Mr. Williams was flying on a flight; I would have thought he was flying on a trapeze.
